As a transplant to the Myrtle Beach area I have a special appreciation for all that the Grand Strand has to offer.  Growing up in Upstate New York I would count down the days until Spring Break and my family's annual Myrtle Beach vacation, 16 hours of station wagon driving excitement with my parents and two older Charlie horse giving brothers followed by 5 days of miniature golf, ice cream with ocean breezes, hush puppies, boiled shrimp, and as much sunblock as my mother could slather on us.  My bothers and I would marvel at the fact that anyone actually "lived" at the beach, it was a foreign idea to our young minds that anyone could be lucky enough to live in Myrtle Beach along the Grand Strand. Living at the beach was just a dream.

As an adult I still think it is a dream to live in Myrtle Beach, and as a Realtor I help clients achieve that dream every single day of the year.  The Grand Strand is a commonly used to term to encompass the greater Myrtle Beach areas of North Myrtle Beach, Little River, Longs, Loris, Surfside Beach, Pawley's Island, Murrells Inlet, Conway and of course the city of Myrtle Beach.
